Audrey Vézina has been a professional translator since 1997. After studying languages and literature at college, she obtained a translation degree from Université de Montréal in 1997. During her studies, she was actively involved in the university’s translation association, serving as president from 1996 to 1997. After graduating, she worked as a translator for a Montreal-based market research firm, and was eventually promoted to head of the translation department. The experience allowed her to develop excellent management, customer relations and proofreading skills. Audrey has been a member of the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ) since December 2008.
Véronique Duguay graduated in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in translation from Université de Montréal. After working in a variety of linguistic fields (lexicography, unilingual and bilingual proofreading, freelance translation), she took a job as Audrey Vézina’s assistant translator—a position she held for four years. She is particularly interested in medicine (she has a college diploma in physical rehabilitation and focused on medical and pharmaceutical translation at university). Véronique has been a member of the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ) since February 2009.
