As you’ve probably guessed, fusionistas is a humorous take on the term fashionistas. Instead of hunting down clothes and accessories, Fusionistas meet at trendy bars and restaurants where they can talk shop, make new business contacts, get in touch with former classmates, and simply have fun.
Since we formed the Fusionistas network in November 2006, it has grown rapidly and now has over 200 members who have found office mates, shared contracts and, most importantly, have enjoyed getting to know one another.

Mailing list
Members on our mailing list receive invitations to events and activities, as well as job offers and information on topics of interest. To subscribe to our mailing list and find out about upcoming activities, email us at info@fusiontraductions.com.
Members directory
In addition to the mailing list, we maintain a members directory, which is very useful if you want to share work, make a referral or even obtain contracts. We regularly send updated copies of the directory to our members. If you’d like to be listed, include the following information in your email: your areas of expertise, whether you’re a freelance or in-house translator (indicate the company name), your language combinations, and whether you’re an OTTIAQ member.

Fusionistas have their say!
We’ve noticed that many Fusionistas love to write but, like us, they don’t have enough time or material to run their own blog.
That’s why we’ve created Parole de Fusionistas, a multi-author blog that covers a wide range of topics, including linguistic tidbits, travel stories, restaurant reviews . . .
The blog is a fun creative outlet and an opportunity for members to share useful information and entertaining anecdotes.
If you already have your own blog and want to submit an existing article, we’d be happy to post it and boost your traffic. For those of you who don’t have a blog, but would like to share your faves and hates, vacation or travel projects, new maple fudge recipe, latest music discoveries, new favourite restaurant, pastimes and so on, this forum is for you! Your post doesn’t have to be long or an opinion piece; it can simply be a couple of paragraphs with the views and news you want to share. We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
